The annual Impact Summit happens every summer, and we’re looking for a director to run our sixth annual summit!

Responsibilities

The Summit Director will be responsible for:

• Finding, outreaching to, and scheduling speakers and workshops
• Running an outreach campaign to publicize the summit
• Coordinating a physical space for the program
• Running financial aid & travel help for attendees
• Optionally managing a team of volunteers to help with some or all of the above responsibilities

A strong candidate will:

• Be passionate about the Impact Summit’s mission and potential for impact
• Proactively ask for help as needed in a fully remote work environment
• Have an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude, while maintaining strong communication with the Executive Director and direct reports
• Have previous event planning experience
• Have previous experience with Impact Labs or other tech for social good communities

We do not expect every strong candidate to fulfill all of these criteria. In fact, it is entirely possible that the strongest candidates will not fulfill all of these. If you are on the fence about applying, we encourage you to submit an application!
