Impact Labs has some exciting initiatives coming up, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us make them happen!

Responsibilities

Volunteers at Impact Labs are placed onto a team according to their experience and interests, as well as the needs of Impact Labs. Responsibilities for each volunteer will vary, but common responsibilities have included:

• Researching and building connections with exciting startups, labs, and nonprofits in the tech for good space
• Outreach and marketing for our initiatives
• Sourcing and negotiating with sponsors and donors
• Input on high-level program design
• Reading applications & running interviews
• Sourcing content and writing copy for the Impact Labs newsletter

A strong volunteer will:

• Be passionate about the Impact Labs mission and potential for impact
• Proactively ask for help as needed in a fully remote work environment
• Have an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude, while maintaining strong communication with their direct manager
• Have previous experience with Impact Labs or other tech for social good communities

We do not expect every strong candidate to fulfill all of these criteria. In fact, it is entirely possible that the strongest candidates will not fulfill all of these. If you are on the fence about applying, we encourage you to submit an application!
